Volunteer at WLRH

As a non-profit organization, WLRH relies on people just like you to assist us in providing the finest quality commerical-free programming available. There are lots of ways to get involved, but space is limited. Submit your application below. Please include 3-5 sentences on what you'd like to volunteer for, and why you'd make a great volunteer.

TRAIN WITH THE RADIO READING SERVICE
WLRH volunteer producers research, record and edit the Tennessee Valley New Hour every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening at 7pm on our HD3 News/Talk channel. It's a great way to meet people, share information and learn the public radio basics. We add new readers two or three times per year.

PLEDGE DRIVES
Volunteer your non-profit group to help answer phones, take pledges and provide other assistance during our Fall and Spring Fund Drives. We do occasionally take individual phone volunteers, but prefer that you be part of a group.

SPECIAL EVENTS
If you enjoy throwing parties and get-togethers, volunteer to help with special events like Open Houses and other listener engagement activities.
